Hello, my name is Tony Ruffin

I have been involved in sports since I was 10 years old. Today I am still as enthusiastic about training as I was when I first started. In fact you can say that  I almost have an obsession with combat sports and training techniques.

I also like to write and share my knowledge with others.

Now you maybe wondering what makes me qualified to tell someone else how to solve their fitness problems. Well as I said earlier, I was involved in sports at an early age. One of the sports I was involved in was wrestling. Our wrestling coach passed down a lot of strength and conditioning techniques that not only made us good athletes but also gave us great physiques. Much of the stuff that he showed us would be considered old school by today’s fitness enthusiasts.

I also was involved in amateur bodybuilding for a short period of time. This is when I learned a ton of techniques that worked. I spent countless hours doing my own personal research, reading everything I could, experimenting, and talking to other bodybuilders that had been in the game for a while.

After bodybuilding I got involved in the activity that I love the most, martial arts. Not only did I attend class religiously to soak up all the knowledge that I could but I applied the same research and experimenting methods that I did with

with bodybuilding.

I was determined to find the not so widely known tips that would allow me to increase my strength, flexibility, and endurance quickly so that I could catch up with the rest of the more experienced students in the class.

I have to tell you from my experience with martial arts, there is no better way to get into all around great shape than to train like a combat athlete. Not necessarily going out to fight but just using the training methods will take your body to fitness levels that will not only shock and amaze you and others watching you, but also send your self confidence through the roof.
